About Blind Cleaning is an award winning,

veteran & family owned small business.

James F Thomas, Owner, President – US Army Veteran, Korea

Over 30 years of experience in fabric cleaning - 23 years in blind cleaning and business ownership, 10 years in dry cleaning and pressing; former top distribution manager for the AZ Republic.

"We founded this professional window treatment cleaning business in 1995, and in the last 23 years, have been able to offer part-time and temporary job opportunities to veterans returning from active duty; the work we do is low-stress and it varies day to day. If a vet wants to attend school while working for us, we give them the flexibility to pursue their other educational and career options.

Through my involvement in the SWVCC - Southwest Veterans Chamber of Commerce, I developed a relationship with The James Walton Home - Project Veteran's Pride, whose mission is to have Program participants gain back their pride and dignity so that they can return to society as a self-sufficient and productive member once again; helping them with developing life skills and transition to jobs and homes of their own.

As a Korean war veteran, I am fully committed to supporting fellow vets who need honest, low stress work; veterans who work for About Blind Cleaning, Inc. uphold our company values of ethics, integrity and hard work. When you hire About Blind Cleaning, you are helping our veterans." - James Thomas

Mary T Thomas, Owner, Vice President – 23 years in blind cleaning and business ownership; over 20 years working for PVUSD and Realty Executives; decades in clerical, real estate and banking background.

And their oldest daughter,

Heather A Hill, Senior Administrative Manager – 4 years in radio broadcasting, 19 years in bar & restaurant management and ownership and retail management; 17 years as an executive assistant, heavy background in administrative management.

Began as a mini blind cleaning business in the back of a mini van with an ultrasonic tank. We were inspired by watching a promotional franchising video.

Services diversified throughout the years, starting with window and screen cleaning, cleaning and polishing light diffusers, parabolic lighting, chandeliers, other light fixtures, mirrors and glass; blind repair, new blind sales and installations; deep green cleaning and restoration of upholstered furniture
